Technical management
We are proud of our technical expertise in managing vessels. Maintenance of vessels, engines and equipment on board is performed under our own supervision, so we can guarantee durability of our vessels. As our customer, you can expect swift and efficient transportation of your freight.
We also handle the certification in collaboration with the highly regarded classification society DNV.
Crewing
Holwerda takes care of crew affairs for the approximately 120 crew members we employ or hire through a crewing agency. In close consultation with the crew, we draw up a personnel schedule for the vessels under our management. We arrange crew changes based on this schedule.
For our crew, we arrange the journey to the vessel or back home, and we are in contact with port agents, immigration services, and travel and employment agencies.
Shipbrokers
Are you looking to sell, purchase, or valuate a vessel? You have come to the right place. With Holwerda’s knowledge and extensive network of ship owners and purchase brokers, we have contributed to many successful sales.
We maintain our knowledge and network through membership of the Dutch Association of Ship Brokers, EMCI certification as a broker and appraiser and membership of BIMCO and the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
